Hörður is born (in 1984) and raised in Grundarfjörður. He has been interested in horses since he was a kid and started training horses at a very young age. In the autumn 2002 he went to Hólar University and in the spring 2004 he finished the second year and became a member of FT. In the autumn of 2004 Hörður decided to open his mind for something new and started working as a horse trainer in Germany at Lipperthof (Uli Reber www.lipperthof.de). He stayed there for four years and speaks German very well. Every year he goes back to Germany to train and teach.
When he came back to Iceland in 2008 he started training horses at Vatnsleysa in Skagafjörður (www.vatnsleysa.com). He has been competing and showing tophorses with good results.

Jessie (1988) was born in Groesbeek, the Netherlands. She developed a passion for horses from a young age and started horse riding lessons when she was 7 years old. She got introduced to the Icelandic Horse at the age of 14 and discovered she loved training and competing these beautiful horses.
She competed at the Word Championships in 2007, on the mare Mist van de Waaldijk. Two years later (2009) they competed at the World Championships again with good results. In 2009 Jessie and Mist became European Champions in the V1 (Horses on Ice, Haarlem).
Jessie has also worked in Germany at the renowned stud Lipperthof (Uli Reber www.lipperthof.de). In the autumn of 2009 she got the oppontunity to train horses at horse stud Vatnsleysa in Iceland (www.vatnsleysa.com), where she gained even more experience.
In 2010 Jessie was accepted into Hólar University from which she graduated in
2013. Jessie is fluent in Dutch, Icelandic and English.
Jessie Huijbers is well known for her patience and her ability to work with the differences between individual horses and riders. Jessie trains and competes horses in Iceland during the year. She regularly visits her hometown of Groesbeek in The Netherlands, to visit her family, give riding clinics and train horses.
